Privacy Policy
Jorvexa is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
01 Overview
Welcome to Jorvexa ("we," "us," or "our"). Jorvexa is a desktop project management application built for freelancers and small agencies in India. It is available at jorvexa.pages.dev.
This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect when you visit our website, purchase our software, or contact our support team. It does not apply to information you enter into the Jorvexa desktop application itself — your project data stays entirely on your own computer and is never transmitted to us.
By visiting our website or purchasing Jorvexa, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
↑ Back to top02 Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate our website, process payments, and deliver your purchased software.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
| Data Type | Why We Collect It | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Full Name | Payment verification and software delivery | Yes |
| Email Address | Sending you the software installer and license confirmation | Yes |
| Phone Number | Order follow-up and payment verification if required | Yes |
| UPI Payment Reference / UTR Number | Verifying that your payment was received successfully | Yes |
| Payment Screenshot | Secondary verification evidence for your transaction | Optional |
| Support Messages | Responding to your enquiries and resolving issues | Optional |
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages) automatically collects basic technical data:
- IP address (used for security and abuse prevention)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Referring URL
- Date and time of your visit
✗ UPI PINs or any banking PINs
✗ Passwords of any kind
✗ Internet banking credentials
✗ Debit or credit card numbers
✗ Your local project files, client data, invoices, or time-tracking records
03 How We Use Your Information
3.1 Payment Verification
Because Jorvexa uses a manual UPI payment process, we review the name, email, UTR number, and optional payment screenshot you submit to confirm your transaction is legitimate before dispatching the software.
3.2 Software Delivery
Once your payment is verified, we send the Jorvexa installer and your license details to the email address you provided at checkout. We do not share your download link with any third party.
3.3 Customer Support
If you contact us with a question, bug report, or technical issue, we use your name and email to respond to you and keep a record of the support conversation for reference.
3.4 Fraud Prevention
We may review order information to detect fraudulent orders, chargebacks, or abuse of the free Demo version. This is a legitimate interest that protects our business and genuine customers.
3.5 Website Improvement
Aggregated, anonymised traffic data may be used to understand how visitors use our website so we can make it faster, clearer, and more useful.
04 Data Storage & Location
4.1 Your Project Data Stays on Your Computer
Jorvexa stores all your work — projects, clients, tasks, invoices, time logs, and expenses — in a local SQLite database file on your own computer. This file is never uploaded to our servers, never synced to the cloud, and is never accessible to us.
4.2 Order Information
Order records (name, email, phone, UTR number, and order reference) are stored securely in a private Google Sheet accessible only to the Jorvexa team. Payment screenshots are stored in a private Google Drive folder with restricted access.
4.3 The Free Demo Version
The Jorvexa Demo version includes pre-loaded sample data (fictitious projects, clients, and invoices) so you can explore the application without entering real information. This sample data is temporary — it resets entirely every time the Demo application is launched. No data you enter in the Demo is transmitted to us or stored permanently anywhere.
05 Cookies & Tracking
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies allow websites to remember your preferences and understand how visitors navigate the site.

Managing Cookies
You can configure your browser to refuse all cookies or alert you when a cookie is being set. Note that disabling essential cookies may affect website functionality.
↑ Back to top06 Third-Party Services
We use a small number of carefully selected third-party services to operate our website and business. Each service is governed by its own privacy policy.
6.1 Cloudflare
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare acts as our content delivery network, DNS provider, and security layer. When you visit jorvexa.pages.dev, your request passes through Cloudflare's network, which may log your IP address and request metadata for security and performance purposes.
Cloudflare Privacy Policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
6.2 Google Services
We use Google Sheets, Google Drive, and Google Forms to store verified order records, payment screenshots, and contact form submissions in a private, access-controlled Google Workspace.
Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
6.3 UPI / FamPay Payment Processing
Payments for Jorvexa are processed manually via a UPI QR code. When you make a payment using any UPI application, the transaction is processed by your bank and the UPI network — not by Jorvexa directly. We only receive the UTR number and the payment confirmation you share with us for verification purposes. We do not store UPI PINs or banking credentials.
6.4 Google Fonts
Our website uses Google Fonts to serve typography. Google may log the font requests and your IP address.

↑ Back to top07 Data Retention
We retain personal information for only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by applicable law.

|---|---|---|
| Order records (name, email, phone, UTR) | 3 years | Financial record-keeping and tax compliance under Indian law |
| Payment screenshots | 1 year | Payment dispute resolution |
| Support emails | 2 years after resolution | Support quality review and recurring issue tracking |

After the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised.
